Antique Chinese Song ? Porcelain Dish Bowl Plate Off White Gray Crackle populaire Glaze

The featured item represents a Chinese porcelain dish that measures approximately 1" tall, 6 1/2" across the top and 4" in diameter at the foot ring.

The piece is finished in off-white / grayish glaze with web of crackles. The interior is hand painted in underglazed blue with images that I cannot figure what they are. The foot rim is glazed and there is a small part of the base that as not covered by the glaze. The top rim is left unglazed. The reason for that is probably that the dish was fired upside down. Such technique was common during the Song dynasty.

The item comes in well-preserved condition populaire with no damages found but normal weal like some scuffs, marks and scratches. Imperfections in the shape and some production flaws and imperfections.
